STYLELIKEU.com INTERVIEW and other UPDATES!!!

October 27, 2010

Back in July 2010 I was interviewed by the lovely Elisa Goodkind of StyleLikeU.com and last week it just posted to the site!  StyleLikeU features people young and old with stand-out styles worth noticing around the world, and people that are shaping & influencing the style/fashion world with their individual styles.  I was so honored to be asked and featured on the site, everyone should check them out!!!  I have made several earrings for StyleLikeU over the past few months, they love my work and I love them!!!

Moving on to some other things, Neon Indian recently revamped their website and used several photos that I took of them at Bonnaroo Festival this year, it looks great, check it out here:  www.neonindian.com

Currently Im working on shoots and jewelry pieces for RED DEVIL LOVE and my first collection “the devil in me”.  I just did an interview with KindForm and that should be out soon too!  I’ll write more soon!

VOGUE & STYLE.com: BONNAROO

June 15, 2010

While I was decked out in all my jewelry and barely any clothes VOGUE wondered over to me and asked for an interview and picture for the style portion of their coverage of BONNAROO this last weekend!!  VOGUE loved my jewelry line RED DEVIL LOVE and even mentioned it in the article!  If VOGUE style editors are crazy about my jewelry I can’t wait to see what happens at fashion week this year!!!

944 DINNER PARTY

May 13, 2010

A few shots from the 944 Dinner Party my Steve and Paul, my editor and the VP of 944, took me to last night.  Naga Thai best Thai food in Dallas I swear it, I had the Green Curry!  There were like 35 of us, I’m pretty sure our bill was over $1500 easy.  I had a mai tai, white russian, then a margarita, all three were bomb.  We were on our way in the elevator of the W Hotel Residencies when the show we were going to at the palladium ended, I cant remember the name of who was playing off the top of my head but they were a rap group from the 90’s. Then we all proceeded to go see Soft Environmental Collapse @ Detour at The Cavern.  All around it was an amazing night by far, so much other stuff happened that I can’t really share with you, all good stuff but ya know, wink wink, haha.  I made so many connects and everyone loved my Jewelry!!!

Pass the Tequilla, This Is A God-Damned Celebration…

April 29, 2010

Finished three new pieces today for REDDEVILLOVE, booked a restaurant shoot, assistant interview, pretty much got a job hopefully at urban, two days ago I became an official 944 Magazine Photographer (944 Magazine), filled out my credentials for Bonnaroo, booked a test shoot and collaboration in LA this summer w/my jewelry & I managed to wake up at 8am… Oh oh and I got a lawyer for the first time ever, which is kinda cool to have 🙂 I feel like my life is in warp-speed, next stop who knows… You know you love those Star Trek references, Mmhmm!

HOYOTOHO is having their CD Release tomorrow at 1111 Dragon street, such a cool street name, anyways, this is definitely where I’ll be taking photos tomorrow, the video opera is gonna be insane, I’ve seen pieces of it by Tim and yeah, the shits got me inspired, not to mention the afterparty at PM Lounge!

Also throwing my support out there to my boys and gal in Ishi tomorrow at The Loft, I know they’ll kick ass and get the Bonnaroo spot! I won’t be able to make it cause I think The Loft is evil for stealing and exploiting my photo work, but that’s another story 🙂

Now if you’ll excuse me I need to run to get a burrito doused in hot sauce & cheese then start drinking the night away for my unofficial/official birthday & party, my real birthday is on Saturday, May 1st. I plan on cooking out, swimming, etc., not entirely sure but I know I wanna smoke up a storm and drink margaritas all day and at some point hot wings and water balloons are gonna be involved.
